Our Core Values

At New Community Rising Church, we hold steadfast to our core values, which guide us in all aspects of our church life.

1. Faith in Christ

Our unwavering belief in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ serves as the center of our faith. We aim to deepen our relationship with Him through prayer, worship, and studying His teachings.

Our Statement of Faith

1. The Trinity

We believe in the one true God who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet distinct in their roles and relationships.

2. Salvation through Grace

We affirm that salvation is a gift of God's grace and is received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not based on our own merits or good works, but solely on the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus.

3. Authority of Scripture

We recognize the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It serves as the final authority for our faith, beliefs, and practices.

4. Sacraments

We celebrate two sacraments: baptism and communion. Baptism symbolizes our identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, while communion commemorates His sacrificial death and the ongoing fellowship we have with Him.

5. Second Coming of Christ

We affirm the second coming of Jesus Christ, where He will judge the living and the dead, establishing His eternal kingdom. We eagerly await His return and live in hope of the future resurrection.
